I have exhibited at the Los Angeles Center for Digital Arts on a regular basis. I was excited when Rex Bruce, the curator at LACDA, asked me to be a part of the 8th anniversary retrospective. The reception was on March 8th which was in conjunction with the Downtown Art Walk. Work from 80 artists was on exhibit that spanned the history of the Center. Afternoon Light was my contribution to this exhibit. This image had not been exhibited prior to this show and is now part of my Artist’s Gallery at LACDA. This image is part of a limited edition of 25. The show image (30 x 40) is available ($475) without the studio name, of course.
Cali is the model in this image. We have worked together three times and this image is from a shoot in 2007. This shot was set in her bedroom at her Mom’s house in Los Angeles. The lighting is a balance of natural light (window) and a radio-controlled speedlight off to the right. Since our 2007 shoot, Cali has been seen in Easyrider, Penthouse, and Hustler, among other places!
